
Ar'ta Abraham McNeil
A college graduate of Dillard University with a Bachelors of Science in international trade, economics, and Asian languages earning recognition from Honda, Mazda, and Ghana University for scholarship. As a former accomplished teacher in the New Orleans Recovery School District, whose efforts in student development led to MLK Charter school receiving presidential mention by both President Bush and Obama. He is also an award winning mentor and two times award winning civic leader with the City of New Orleans with the Mayor Cantrell Community Leader Academy, and National Dream MLK Community Leaders. He was ranked as a top Walt Disney performing marketing and recruitment director, being ranked in the top 5 of 50 states and 16 territories of the United States, taking his team from unranked to top ranked in all major categories.
He has worked with the likes of the U.S Karate Association and Olympic team Blue Lion Academy and was the sports marketing executive in which they acquired Walt Disney Martial Arts contract, and toured nationally; fostering development and recruitment of talent under the WDMA brand with the likes of the late Bruce Lee legendary co-star Black Belt Jim Kelly.
He has operated as the fund development chair director for the Young Professionals Urban League of New Orleans and the player development coach for American Football Developmental League, "Louisiana Lightning" team. Mr. Ar'tra Abraham operates now as the At-Large Board member for the regional Asian Pacific American Society-New Orleans , Administrative Secretary team and executive joint City of New Orleans board member for the the redevelopment of Lincoln Beach., and economic development consultant to the United States Department of Agriculture and periodic grant consultant for regional art groups.
Mr. Ar'tra Abraham, currently serves in the United Armed Forces, 441st seaport operations theater, as a reserved member, while fostering community work among his colleagues and co-founders at The 3rd Line NOLA, and Louisiana statewide economic development peers. He has the focus to expand on developing the "infrastructure of people" , restoring and innovating the landscape for families to come through faith, economic development and technology.
