Dr. Jeffery Ambrose is a passionate scientist, educator, and community advocate dedicated to
creating positive change. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech
University, where his innovative research focused on gene and drug delivery systems for cancer
therapy. With extensive experience in laboratory management and scientific research, he has
become a leader in advancing food safety and laboratory innovation.

Dr. Ambrose is deeply committed to driving change in his community. He serves on the board of
Biomedical Engineering at West Chester University, helping to shape the future of education and
innovation in the field. As a member of the MLK Commission, he works to honor and advance
Dr. King’s legacy through meaningful initiatives. He is also an active member of Together New
Orleans, working to address systemic inequities and empower communities through
collaborative efforts. Additionally, as an organizer of YouthDay NOLA, Dr. Ambrose is
passionate about mentoring the next generation, fostering civic engagement, and inspiring young people to become agents of change.
